Kumar Rajan
CEO
Kumar Rajan founded Cimsoftek in 1992 before merging the operations with Compunix, Inc. to form CCE. Before founding Cimsoftek, Kumar was the Director of Software Development at the U.S. unit of Dassault Systèmes, one of the leading providers of CAD/CAM/CAE products. He was one of the earliest developers of CATIA, working at the Paris headquarters of Dassault Systems. Kumar assisted with merging the combined strengths of Cimsoftek and Compunix in CAD data interoperability to develop and market products and technologies used by a number of leading corporations and independent software vendors (ISVs) worldwide. Today, he plays the dual role as CEO and CTO, setting the strategy for software development at CCE. Kumar received his dual Master’s degrees in Computer Science and in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in Troy, NY, and Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras, India.
Debankan Chattopadhyay
Director – Sales & Marketing
Debankan leads CCE’s global Sales and Marketing organization, driving strategic growth initiatives, business development, and go-to-market execution. With more than 25 years of experience spanning both engineering and business leadership, he has held roles across strategic account management, sales engineering, product management, channel partnerships, and digital marketing. His experience enables him to bridge technical innovation with market strategy to drive business growth. Debankan specializes in building strategic alliances, developing high-value partnerships, and leading cross-functional teams across geographies. He is passionate about helping organizations accelerate innovation through unique engineering solutions and digital transformation. Debankan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vellore Engineering College, University of Madras (now Vellore Institute of Technology), and an Executive Business Management degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata, India.
