PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which CCE Technologies Inc. (“CCETech”), located at 61 W Palisade Ave 2B, Englewood, NJ 07631, the owner and developer of the Impact360 desktop software (hereafter “Impact360”), collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the https://www.cceintl.com website (“Site”) and the Impact360 desktop application (“App”), available at https://www.cceintl.com/impact360. This Privacy Policy applies to the Site, the App and all products and services offered by CCETech, collectively referred to as the “Services” and also hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, request information or a demonstration, register for or activate the App, subscribe to a paid plan or license, contact support, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available through the Site or the App. To use the Services, Users may be asked to provide information such as their name, email address, company name, job title, billing information and App license or account details.
By using the Services, Users accept that they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site or App related activities, such as activating or licensing the App. Alternatively, Users may opt to visit our Site anonymously without registering.
Information processed by the App on your computer
Impact360 is desktop-installed software. The App is designed to automate engineering workflows, and in doing so it may read, process and write files, folders and project data that you or your organization choose to use with it (“Engineering Data”), such as design files, models, drawings, documents, reports, spreadsheets, scripts and related metadata. Engineering Data is processed on your device or within your organization’s own environment. Unless you expressly enable a feature that requires it, or you send it to us for support purposes, we do not collect, access or store your Engineering Data on our servers.
If you choose to send us Engineering Data (for example, by attaching a project file to a support request), we will use it only to diagnose and resolve the issue you reported, and we will delete it once it is no longer needed for that purpose. Please do not send us data that is subject to export-control or classification restrictions, or that you are not authorized to share.
Information collected by the App
To license, secure, support and improve the App, the App may collect limited technical and usage information, which may include:
- License and activation information, such as license key, license status, activation date and the number of devices activated;
- Device and environment information, such as operating system and version, App version, hardware identifiers used for license validation, language and region settings;
- Diagnostic information, such as error messages, crash reports and performance data, which are intended not to include the contents of your Engineering Data; and
- General feature usage information, such as which App features or automation modules are used and how often.
Where permitted by the App, you can control optional diagnostic and usage reporting in the App settings.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users’ means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
Web browser cookies
Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. A User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. Users may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert them when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.
How we use collected information
CCETech may collect and use Users’ personal information for the following purposes:
- To run and operate our Site and the App: We may need your information to display content on the Site correctly and to activate, license and operate the App.
- To improve customer service: Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
- To personalize user experience: We may use information in aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site and in the App.
- To improve our Site and the App: We may use feedback you provide, and aggregated diagnostic and usage information, to improve our products and services.
- To process payments: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
- To send periodic emails: We may use the email address to send Users information and updates pertaining to their order, license or the App, such as software updates and security notices. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site or systems.
Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site, the App and our servers happens over a TLS secured communication channel (also known as SSL) and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures. Because the App runs on your own computer, you are responsible for the security of that device and of the Engineering Data stored on it.
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users’ personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business, the Site and the App or administer activities on our behalf, such as processing payments, hosting, license management, sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property or safety of CCETech, our Users or others.
Data retention and deletion
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, maintain your license, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information at any time by emailing support@cceintl.com. Following a verified request, we will delete or anonymize the information within a reasonable period, except for information we are required to keep for legal, tax, accounting or security purposes. Uninstalling the App removes the App from your device but does not by itself delete information we hold about you; Engineering Data stored on your device remains under your control.
Electronic newsletters
If a User registers to our Site or our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. Users may unsubscribe at any time using the link in these emails or by contacting us at support@cceintl.com. We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.
Children’s privacy
The Services are intended for professional use and are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@cceintl.com and we will take steps to delete it.
Changes to this privacy policy
CCETech has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will post the updated policy on this page and revise the “Last Updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you by email or through the App. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.
Your acceptance of these terms
By using the Site or the App, you signify your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site or App. Your continued use of the Site or App following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
Contacting us
